Butterfly Quinceanera

Butterfly Quinceanera

Butterflies are symbolic of transformation, and your quince años celebrates your transformation into a young woman.

Mix butterflies with your favorite two colors and create a natural ambiance throughout the venue. Make sure to include an appropriate quantity of butterflies; the combination of the colors with these will make the whole butterfly theme flow.

The Colors

This theme can have two or three colors. Pink and purple, orange and pink, or orange and yellow would work perfect. You can also choose two colors and make some aspects of your party multi-colored, such as the cake or centerpieces.

The Venue

A butterfly theme works well anywhere. If your reception is in a ballroom or another indoor venue, your party could be the `Butterfly Ball`. With an outdoor party, you could make the theme more of a `Butterfly Garden Party`.

The Invites

This theme is perfect for invitations as there are many butterfly designs available, including 3-D elements.

The Dress

You can find dresses with soft, pretty applique details. There are many styles of headpieces, tiaras and jewelry that incorporate butterflies.

The Court

Try to find dama dresses that match your color scheme. Also, butterfly earrings, bracelets, necklaces, hair pins are very easy to find, in all price ranges. White suits for the chambelanes would match a butterfly quinceanera theme well.

Gorgeous!

The Decor

There are not only a lot of options on the market for decorations, but also a large amount of DIY ideas as well. You can incorporate butterflies to anything. See the next pictures to get inspired.

The Cake

3-D butterflies on your cake will bring your cake to the next level. Butterfly cupcakes, cookies, and butterfly pops will be a perfect addition.

Special Touches

Instead of using a traditional guest book, check out the next video. A face painter to paint butterflies on guests would be a really sweet touch.

Favors

For party favors, there are so many options with this theme. A DIY option: wrap a ribbon around a candle. You could also use a butterfly stamp to dress up a plain favor box.

Boxes

Try finding boxes with butterfly adornments, and fill with mints, candies, etc.

Please!

Do not use any live insects, that's not cool. If you plan to do a butterfly release, please do not. There are thousands of alternatives out there. We will publish another butterfly story soon to get you more tips!
